Jamie Menard
Educator & Business Owner

Jamie Menard

Jamie Menard was born and raised in Kankakee, Illinois, where he attended Catholic school and began a life shaped by both challenges and perseverance. After dropping out of high school at 19, Jamie later returned to finish his diploma, and after meeting the love of his life he got married, went on to college, and earned a degree in Elementary Education with a specialty in Learning Disabilities.

He later earned a Master's degree and became a school principal in a small town in West Central Indiana. At age 22, Jamie became a Christian after a friend, Bob Johnson, shared the message of Jesus in a way that was simple and deeply personal. His faith became a cornerstone of his life, influencing his work in education, his role as a husband and father, and later, his ventures as a business owner.

Jamie served in several capacities within his church life. Jamie loves riding motorcycles, hiking, walking and flying small aircraft. Over the years, Jamie launched several startups, including a successful water and mold mitigation company now owned by his son.

Though faith has been a source of strength, Jamie also faced the long-lasting effects of complex childhood trauma—pain that prayer alone didn't fully resolve. It wasn't until he began working with a skilled therapist, Deb Hewitt, that he was able to fully confront and begin healing from those wounds. That process, grounded in both faith and professional support, brought real transformation.

Today, Jamie stands alongside his brother Mike in a shared mission to help others find a new life in Christ, heal from trauma, find peace, and grow in their walk with Christ.
