Emilie Adena Menard

B.S. Ed. ECD — Co-Founder, United Against Childhood Trauma

Emilie Adena Menard is the co-founder and Vice President of United Against Childhood Trauma. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and Early Childhood Development from Indiana University and spent eight years teaching elementary school before leaving the classroom to raise her daughter, Stella.

Those two roles — educator and mother — shaped her commitment to the well-being of children and families. She co-founded UACT with her husband, Mike Menard, out of a shared belief that childhood trauma deserves far more attention than it receives, and that the families living with it deserve better than what they have now.

Emilie brings a teacher's training, a parent's perspective, and a genuine conviction that children should feel seen, supported, and able to thrive.
